Is Listening Ground therapy?
No. Listening Ground is a certified emotional wellness and listening service,
not a licensed therapy practice. We don’t diagnose, prescribe, or provide clinical treatment.
We offer warm, human, non-clinical support that can complement therapy or other care.
Who is this for?
People who feel overwhelmed, lonely, stressed, or like they “don’t want to bother anyone.”
We support adults of all ages, including seniors and caregivers, who want a calm, private
place to say what they’re really feeling.
How are sessions held?
Sessions are currently held by phone. This makes it easy for seniors, people who are
multitasking, or anyone who prefers to talk without being on video.
How long is a session?
Most sessions are either 30 minutes or 60 minutes, depending on the plan you choose.
You’ll see the available options clearly when you book through our scheduler.
What happens in a session?
Your listener will greet you, make sure you’re comfortable, and invite you to share what’s on
your mind. You set the pace. Your listener may reflect, validate, or gently ask questions, but
the focus is on you being heard.
Who are the listeners?
Our listeners are carefully selected for their warmth, emotional maturity, and ability to hold
space. They receive specialized training in emotional wellness listening and follow clear
guidelines around privacy and boundaries.
Can I book for someone else?
Yes. Many caregivers, adult children, and loved ones book sessions or gift plans for
someone they care about. You can also use our Gift page to send
a thoughtful, quiet wellness gift.
How does payment work?
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You can choose a single session or
a monthly plan like The Essential, The Ritual, or The Practice. All prices are shown clearly
before you confirm.
Can I cancel or change my plan?
Yes. You’ll be able to manage your subscription through Stripe, our payment partner.
If you ever need extra help, just email us at
support@thelisteningground.com.
What if I need to reschedule?
Life happens. You can reschedule or cancel a session through your Calendly confirmation email
or calendar invite. Please try to give as much notice as you can so that time can be offered
to someone else.
Is this anonymous?
We ask for basic contact details to schedule and support you, but what you share in a session
is treated with great care and discretion. We do not record calls, and we do not sell your
information.
What if I’m in crisis?
Listening Ground is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger
or thinking about harming yourself or others, please call 988 (in the U.S.) or your
local emergency number, or reach out to a trusted crisis line in your area.
